CHRISTMAS IN ACTION: CIA WITH BA CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH A SPECIAL EPISODE

‘Christmas In Action’: ‘CIA with BA’ celebrates Christmas with a special episode

“Kaya tayo ‘in action,’ kasi ‘action speaks louder than words.”

These were words from Senator Alan Peter Cayetano as he described the public service program during the opening of ‘CIA with BA’s special episode on Christmas eve, December 24.

Dubbed as ‘Christmas in Action,’ the episode featured some of the former guest subjects from the ‘Case 2 Face’ segment who have already reconciled.

“[This is the] joy of Christmas. Nung unang punta nila dito, talagang parang magpapatayan.. [tapos] talagang I’m so offended when I see yung lack of respect sa parents…” said Sen.

The episode also became an instant concert treat to the Mariteam and its viewers with performances from 4th Impact, young violinist Shammah Alegado, Bugoy Drilon and Kapuso star Rita Daniela.

“What a better way to celebrate Christmas with people we work with and people who we have come to know as family,” Pia expressed.

To close the show, Kuya Alan reminded that “even without written law, may tinatawag na natural law. Sinasabi parati, ‘dun tayo sa tama,’ ‘di ba? Even without ‘yung batas na pinapasa ng mga legislator, alam naman natin kung ano ‘yung tama at mali.”

“And while we wish you a Merry Merry Christmas, tama na mahalin ang Diyos, tama na mahalin ang kapwa,” he said.

Nominated as Best Talk Show at the 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards, ‘CIA with BA’ carries on the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of the sibling senators. The senior Cayetano was a renowned lawyer who gained fame through his radio and TV program 'Compañero y Compañera,' which aired from 1997 to 2001.

‘CIA with BA’ hosted by Alan, Pia, and Boy airs every Sunday, 11:00 p.m. on GMA7.

Kabogera ang bisita ng Mentorque that night at kitang-kita kong very happy to the highest level si Bryan Dy at ang buong produksiyon nito.

Like what i told you sa trailer palang ng movie, world-class na world-class ito.

Grabe.

Congrats sa buong production staff, cast and crew ang MALLARI!

The best film this year! Bukod-tangi!

CIA WITH BA CONSISTENTLY WINS THE HEARTS OF VIEWERS NOW ON EARLIER TIMESLOT

‘CIA with BA’ consistently wins the hearts of viewers, now on earlier time slot

Public service program ‘CIA with BA’ continuously achieves success as it garnered high ratings in the past weeks.

The 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards Best Talk Show nominee averaged 1.5% nationwide viewership in the past three episodes at its earlier time slot, 11:15 p.m. every Sunday.

Meanwhile, starting December 17, ‘CIA with BA’ led by senator siblings Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano and Boy Abunda will be back to its original timeslot, 11:00 p.m.

Currently in its fourth season, the show remains faithful to its goal to help people, especially with legal assistance.

In the recent episode on December 10, an emotional woman in the ‘Payong Kapatid’ segment sought advice regarding the shares of her eight children from her late partner’s wealth. While it was clear to her that she does not have a right to ask for a share herself because the deceased had a legal wife, she only wanted to fight for her children’s rights.

In the ‘Case 2 Face’ segment, an issue between two men who got involved in a brawl, wherein one of them even pointed a knife at the other, was resolved.

‘CIA with BA’ carries on the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of the sibling senators. The senior Cayetano was a renowned lawyer who gained fame through his radio and TV program 'Compañero y Compañera,' which aired from 1997 to 2001.

Don’t miss ‘CIA with BA’ with Alan, Pia, and Boy every Sunday, 11:00 p.m. on GMA7.

' CIA WITH BA ' IS IT RIGHT TO NOT GIVE TO CHRISTMAS CAROLERS?

CIA with BA:’ Is it right to NOT give to Christmas carolers?

With Christmas already in the air, a very timely question arose in the ‘Yes or No’ segment of ‘CIA with BA’ in its episode on Sunday, December 3.

Richard Knows of the ‘Mariteam’ narrated an unfortunate but ridiculous story that happened one Christmas season with his group when they went caroling in their community.

“Every year po kasi, nangangaroling kami. Mayroong may magandang bahay sa amin, nangaroling kami [at] pinapasok kami… tapos pinakanta kami nung may-ari.

Richard asked.

“It’s a very interesting question. Kung ako [ang] judge, ang sasabihin ko, oobligahin ko ‘yung may-ari na may ibigay,” said lawmaker host Alan Peter Cayetano as he reacted. “Kung ang tanong ay ‘may obligasyon ba?’ Yes!”

Kuya Alan elaborated: “Bakit?

‘yung nagca-caroling ka bahay-bahay, everyone knows na ibig sabihin – whether for yourself or for charity – humihingi ka. So for me, abuso ng kanyang karapatan na pinapasok ka tapos pinakanta ka pa, [tapos] walang binigay,” he continued.

Alan also explained there is a difference between those who sing Christmas carols at certain places and those who do house-to-house caroling.

“By the way, iba ‘yung singing Christmas carols, iba ‘yung caroling. Kasi ‘yung mga, halimbawa, nasa public park, nagco-concert sila, ginagawa ‘yon para matuwa [ang mga] tao o kaya ‘yung mismong mall binabayaran sila, they’re singing Christmas carols to entertain, to make [people] happy. Wala kang obligasyon maglagay (magbigay),” he said.

Kuya Alan added.

‘CIA with BA’ is now on its fourth season since it premiered on February 5 this year.

The program continues the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of the sibling senators. The senior Cayetano was a renowned lawyer who gained fame through his radio and TV program 'Compañero y Compañera,' which aired from 1997 to 2001.

Don’t miss ‘CIA with BA’ with Alan, Pia, and Boy every Sunday, 11:30 p.m. on GMA7.

“Every year po kasi, nangangaroling kami. Mayroong may magandang bahay sa amin, nangaroling kami [at] pinapasok kami… tapos pinakanta kami nung may-ari.

“It’s a very interesting question. Yes!”

‘yung nagca-caroling ka bahay-bahay, everyone knows na ibig sabihin – whether for yourself or for charity – humihingi ka.

“By the way, iba ‘yung singing Christmas carols, iba ‘yung caroling. Kasi ‘yung mga, halimbawa, nasa public park, nagco-concert sila, ginagawa ‘yon para matuwa [ang mga] tao o kaya ‘yung mismong mall binabayaran sila, they’re singing Christmas carols to entertain, to make [people] happy. Wala kang obligasyon maglagay (magbigay),” aniya.

In a world run by devious people, the only way to survive is by exacting vengeance.

Vivamax proudly presents another compelling story where four lives become intertwined, but is it by choice or by chance? See the mystery unfold in “Ganti-Ganti”, a film by McArthur “Direk Mac” Alejandre, written by Ricky Lee.

Angeli Khang plays Vicky who comes from a rich family. Only in her 20s, she is already married to an older, but equally moneyed man. All the money in the world, however, does not guarantee a happy marriage. In one of her visits to a bar, Vicky meets a man that’s about her age. One thing leads to another, and they end up in bed.

Sean De Guzman is Ted, the guy Vicky meets at a bar. Being naked with her makes him see her  heavily bruised body. He finds out that it was caused by her sadistic husband. All of a sudden, Ted acts like Vicky’s knight in shining armor who is willing to do anything – even murder - to free and protect her from the hell that she’s going through.

Mark Anthony Fernandez is Arthur, Vicky’s husband. His cruelty towards Vicky might just cost him his life. But being rich and powerful can still make wonders for him.

Yen Durano plays Georgia, Arthur’s employee who holds a serious grudge against him. She joins Ted and Vicky in plotting Arthur’s murder.

On the surface, “Ganti-Ganti” seems like the antagonists and protagonists are clearly outlined, but viewers can expect the unexpected from the creative minds of Ricky Lee and Direk Mac. There are layers to the individual stories of each character, and their involvement with one another will blow your mind!

WORLD-CLASS ANG PAGKAKAGAWA NG HORROR FILM NA ' MALLARI ' NG MENTORQUE PRODUCTIONS NA PINAGBIBIDAHAN NI PIOLO PASCUAL

MENTORQUE PRODUCTIONS makes history through its film and Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry, Mallari, as the first Filipino movie distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures.

To kick-off its month -long journey towards the December 25 MMFF 2023 release, Mentorque in cooperation with Cleverminds Incorporated, it will hold the biggest and grandest media and fan conference in one last friday December 1 held at the Music Hall of SM Mall Of Asia, Pasay City.

Mallari stars the Philippines' ultimate Hearthrob Piolo Pascual as Fr. Juan Severino Mallari, the first Filipino priest executed by the Spanish colonial government.

The mediacon was held at the Cinema 5 of SM Mall Of Asia and the media got a special access to cover the ongoing activities that featured a show, games, interactive booths, the Mallari gallery and a lot of giveaways too.

Well attended ang katatapos lang na mediacon last December 1 kung saan nasa listahan ng attendees sina John Bryan Diamante, the president of Mentorque Productions kasama ang Direktor ng movie na si Derick Cabrido, Writer nitong si Enrico Santos kasama ang mga artista ng pelikulang sina Piolo, Janella, JC Santos, Gloria Diaz at Ron Angeles.

Mallari is a partly fictional, partly true to life account inspired by the true story of Fr. Mallari, a parish priest in the 1800s who killed 57 people before being caught, thereby becoming the first and only recorded filipino serial killer ever, antedating Jack The Ripper by more than 60 years.

The film takes pride in its high quality production and high caliber team, which earned the nod of Warner Bros. And promises to be the scariest movie this christmas season.

The development of it's concept started in 2018 and had its green light by Mentorque in 2022.

Directed by Derick Cabrido, he shot the film in various historic locations in the Philippines including a village built for the project to recreate an authentic setting. Also, it boasts of three timelines combining the audiences love for retro horror with the immediate rwlatability of current terrors.
