Tunay na kahanga-hanga’: Boy Abunda acclaims ‘CIA with BA’ co-hosts Cayetano siblings
Award-winning television host Boy Abunda expressed admiration for sibling senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano, his co-hosts in ‘CIA with BA.’
On the second part of the public service program’s ‘Producer’s Cut’ aired on Sunday, November 12, Abunda described how the Cayetanos face and assess the cases and problems they hear from different people who come to the show.
“Dito, [nakikita] natin si Ate Pia [at] Kuya Alan kung paano maging objective bilang mga abogado – nakikinig sa detalye, nagpro-problem solve, ika-nga,” he recounted. “They listen and they dispense pieces of advice na nanggagaling sa isipan ng mga abogado. Tunay na kahanga-hanga.”
Abunda identified what kind of issues that affect the lawmaker hosts the most.
“May mga issues na nagiging emosyonal si Kuya Alan at Ate Pia – si Kuya Alan sa mga governance issue, sa mga public service na usapin; [si] Ate Pia, pagdating sa mga kaso na may kinalaman sa children’s rights, women’s welfare, she is involved, she fights,” he said.
Apart from his co-hosts, Abunda also expressed high regard to the people who bravely share their stories to the program, whether to ask for help or to become inspiration to others.
“Pero hindi lamang si Kuya Alan at Ate Pia ang hinahangaan ng mga humihingi sa atin ng payo,” he stated. “Lahat tayo maraming natutunan, hindi lamang sa mga abogado – Kuya Alan, Ate Pia. Madalas, marami tayong napupulot na aral sa mga taong humihingi ng payo, sa mga taong humihingi ng tulong.”
‘CIA with BA’ is now on its fourth season since it premiered on February 5 this year.
The program continues the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of the sibling senators. The senior Cayetano was a renowned lawyer who gained fame through his radio and TV program 'Compañero y Compañera,' which aired from 1997 to 2001.
Don’t miss ‘CIA with BA’ with Alan, Pia, and Boy every Sunday, 11:30 p.m. on GMA7.
