AMP-ANAK MAHARLIKANG PILIPINO PARTYLIST PANGUNGUNAHAN NINA TOM RODRIGUEZ AT BILLY JAMES

Nitong nakaraang araw lang ng huwebes ay pormal ng naghain si Billy James-isang businessman at character actor ng kanyang COC bilang 2nd nominee para sa AMP-Anak Maharlikang Pilipino Partylist na maugong na ngayong pinag-uusapan. Hangad ni Billy James na makapasok sila sa Kongreso upang maging mas malawak pa ang kanilang aabuting pagtulong na nakalahaf sa kanilang pagsulong ni Tom Rodriguez sa kongreso. Walang ibang ambisyon ang dalawa kundi ang makapagbigay tulong sa kanilang kapwang maharlika. Narito po ang plataporma ng AMP Partylist.

1. The basic platform of the organization is for the promotion of the welfare and well-being of Filipino construction workers in the Philippines and abroad which the government cannot readily address, hence the need of this party list organization to lobby legislations which necessitates the protection of the welfare concerning construction workers local and abroad that the government cannot directly oversee. This organization is composed of mostly experienced construction workers and small scale and medium contractors who are aware of, knowledgeable, and sensitive to the needs and welfare of their construction workers.         

2. It also aims to establish a creative and effective relationship with the members from the construction workers association in the Philippines and seeks to provide representation for those who have none, as well as the promotion and provision of their social welfare and economic well-being.

3. To protect and uphold the individual and collective rights of all construction workers in the Philippines and abroad and for the harmonious and progressive construction worker-management relations. 

4. To strive for the adoption of legislation, policies and other measures that will promote the economic, social and general well-being of all construction workers local and abroad.

5. The success of the government’s Build Build Build or BBB Program, the “ANAK MAHARLIKANG PILIPINO” partylist will support to bolster the construction industry of the Philippines by getting involved in developing the construction projects of the government in the country. 

6. Part of the party’s advocacy is that of developing DECENT WORK PROGRAMS. It aims to generate feasible work opportunities with fair compensation and cultivate an environment where workers may aspire for success in their fields. Security in the workplace and social protection for their families is also a top priority of the association.

7. It will also encourage the construction workers to exercise their freedom of expression and voice out when it comes to their concerns and we shall provide equality of opportunity and fair treatment among the workers.

8. The partylist also supports the following: 

a. INDISCRIMINATE ACCESS to OPPORTUNITIES with work;

b. Fair hiring practices;

c. Development of sectors;

d. Promotions in the workplace;

e. Engagement of FAIR PLATFORMS for the workers;

f. Freedom of ASSOCIATION;

g. RECOGNITION of merits;

h. Safe and fair WORKING CONDITIONS

9. It also suppot the fight for having a safe and balanced working environment to address these following concerns for the workers:

a. Facility and Equipment SAFETY

b. Work-life BALANCE

c. Development programs for SKILL provisions

d. SOCIAL PROTECTION

e. Benefits beyond Government REQUIREMENTS;

f. Strict policies against forced and child labor.

10. Lastly, the party list will encourage productive collaborations with DOLE, POEA, and OWWA and to the GLOBAL PINOY CONSTRUCTION EXPERTS, with inference of inclusion to both local and international counterparts. The partylist will also support the government in building SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES and a STRONG INSTITUTION for a brighter future for the Filipino people.
