Feud between two mothers addressed on ‘CIA with BA’
Public service program ‘CIA with BA’ took on a case involving two mothers who had a falling out due to a dispute between their children.
In the ‘Case 2 Face’ segment on Sunday, July 21, Amy complained about Joy, whom she considered her best friend. According to Amy, Joy escalated their conflict stemming from an incident involving the kids.
Since then, the two have stopped talking to each other and even started making indirect but hurtful remarks. Joy also made a new friend, which Amy admitted made her feel jealous.
“Maraming malalalim na issue na pwedeng maging kaso, tapos ang pinanggagalingan talaga is ‘yung personal relationship,” Senator Pia Cayetano said, reflecting on the case.
In the middle of the discussion, both mothers immediately asked for each other’s forgiveness, which was actually Amy's main intention in approaching the program.
“That’s the lesson na gusto kong matandaan natin, na i-value natin ‘yung relationships natin kasi pagka hindi, e minsan ang katutunguhan [ay] lalong nakakagulo pa sa buhay natin. Always show respect and love to the people we are close to,” Ate Pia noted.
Co-host Senator Alan Peter Cayetano shared his realization: “’Yon palang selos, ‘yon palang inggit, ‘yon palang feeling mo [na] hindi ka pinapansin, ‘yung longing, wala palang age ‘yan.”
Loyal to their mission, the program pledged to help the two mothers start their own businesses or even a joint one.
‘CIA with BA’ continues the legacy of the late Senator Rene Cayetano and airs every Sunday at 11:00 p.m. on GMA7, with replays on GTV the following Saturday at 10:30 p.m.
