1st ASIA’S GOLDEN ICONS AWARDS 2022, to be launched JUNE 28
The very first Asia’s Golden Icons Awards 2022 will be held on June 28, 2022 (Tuesday), 5:00 PM, at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila resort hotel in Parañaque City, presented MPJ Entertainment Productions, in cooperation with Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development Corporation.
Its President, Dr. Ronnel P. Ybañez, himself a multi-awarded businessman, is thrilled to be the man behind this awesome endeavor of recognizing people in various sectors -- specially business and entertainment -- thereby inspire them to strive for excellence in whatever field they may be.
A licensed real estate broker since 2014, Dr. Ybañez takes pride in being the marketing arm of IDESIA, (the number one developer in Japan), Axeia Development Corporation, among others.
He has received his Honoris Causa being Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Management and Doctor of Humanities in Social and Community Development. Currently, he’s enrolled in PCU Manila taking up Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management, Major in Strategy Management.
Just for the year 2022, he has received two outstanding recognitions: as Empowered Man of Excellence in Real Estate Business in Viral Awards 2022 and as Multi Awarded Real Estate Broker of the Year in the 5th Luminare Awards last March.
In the Entertainment category, the pioneering recipients of the first ASIA’S GOLDEN ICONS AWARDS 2022 are: Wilma Galvante (Most Influential Showbiz Personality of the Year), Sen. Robin Padilla (Asia's Most Iconic Showbiz Personality of the Year), Ara Mina (Asia’s Most Exceptional Actress of the Decade), Pia Guanio (Best Entertainment Anchor of the Year), popular celebrity sisters Toni Gonzaga (Most Influential and Inspiring Talk Show Host of the Year) and Alex Gonzaga (Asia’s Most Iconic Content Creator of the Year).
The other celebrity awardees include Gladys Reyes (Most Iconic Actress and Inspiring TV Host of the Year), Mariel Rodriguez (Asia's Most Empowered Actress and Vlogger of the Year), Ana Jalandoni (Most Empowered Celebrity of the Year), the mother and son tandem of Teresa Loyzaga (Most Admired Actress of Philippine Cinema) and Diego Loyzaga (Most Versatile Actor of the Millennium).
Rounding up the recipients are actor and Parañaque Councilor Jomari Yllana (Most Admired Public Servant of the Year), Priscilla Almeda (Most Inspiring Actress of the Year), Ahron Villena (Most Inspiring Actor and Businessman of the Year), Kirst Viray (Aspiring Actor of the Year), and Atak Arana (Outstanding Comedian of the Year).
The charity partner of this event is Ang Bahay Silungan, Inc. (ABSI). Located in Alfonso, Cavite, this charity institution houses Filipino children who are victims of child abuse and exploitations.
