Emil Paden releases single and album:
Four years ago, Eat Bulaga’s That’s My Tambay Grand Winner Emil Paden captured hearts with his undeniably warming smile and charm. This 2018, Emil is all set to do it all over again, but with smooth, swooning serenades.
Before stepping in the music limelight, Emil was a jack of all trades in the entertainment industry. Apart from his win in the popular noontime show segment, he has been an active spectrum in the acting scene. He appeared in widely-loved shows “Maynila” and “Idol Ko Si Kap” in GMA 7, and ABS-CBN’s “Wildflower”; and was recently casted for the role of General Miguel Montero in the upcoming indie film “Ang Bayan Ko”, an official entry to the QualiCinema Film Festival.
Emil has also expressed his passion for entertainment when he became a part of the SOP Boys, a boy group arm of the now defunct Sunday noontime show “SOP” in GMA 7. This unstoppable performer also extended his talents to Showtime’s dance contest segment “Dancing in Tandem”.
This year, Emil took on another challenge in his career by recording an album. The eight-track recording entitled “Ako Naman…Emil” is a collection of moving love songs that will surely melt everyone’s heart.
“Ako Naman”, the first single to come out from the album, talks about unrequited affection and the hope of having that chance to be loved back. The single, composed by Robster Evangelista, has been playing in radio stations all over Metro Manila for quite a while, giving an exciting year for this rising heartthrob! On June 22 this year, his full album “Ako Naman...Emil” distributed by CURVE Entertainment, Inc., will be released on digital platforms worldwide.
“Ako Naman..Emil”, also contains “Kumusta Ka”, penned by prolific composer Lito Camo, is another song to watch out for that speaks of a promise of true love. While “Ang Iyong Pagmamahal” is about enduring love and affection. While “Sabihin Mo Sa Akin”, written by Jessa Mae Gabon, is a poignant song about losing one’s love and the desire to find the answers to the nagging questions that resulted in such heartbreak. The classic “Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin”, a Rodel Naval original, was given a little “Spanish guitar” arrangement by Jun Tamayo who co-produced the album along with veteran record executive Reck Cardinales.
Also in the album are “Someone To Love Me Forever” written and originally recorded by soul and R&B artist Chris Walker, “Ikaw Pala” and “Mukha Ng Pilipina”, written by Robster Evangelista.
The album, is like rollercoaster ride, crafted for everyone who has deeply loved and has been loved in return, losing and finding the same again. With Emil’s swabe vocals complementing the songs’ smooth instrumentals, kilig will surely be spread from one ear to another.
The album is executive produced by Maria Leonora G. Roxas and will be digitally released on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, and Deezeer.
